Riding Lessons
Our Riding Lesson Program is a complete horsemanship program.
Let us know your goals and we will make a plan just for you.
We provide lesson horses or bring your own horse.
First Time Beginner Riders What to expect
We require a min of 4 private lessons for beginner riders before moving to group lessons. This gives you the time to develop your training foundation with one on one instruction time.
To prepare your rider for your first lesson please make sure to have sturdy shoes. Boots are preferred, but not required. But no open toe shoes, flip flops or sandals.
Please bring water bottle, as it gets hot out there.
We do not require face coverings, as we are in an open air environment. But we do ask that you do not come if anyone in your family is having any symptoms or possible symptoms of Covid 19 and or you have been exposed or possibly exposed to Covid 19 within the previous 14 days.
At this time We have no cancellation fee.
We provide riding helmets to be used. All riders under the age of 18 are required to wear helmet.
The first lesson will be learning all about the horse. Horse care, safety, and preparation for riding. You will learn how to brush, pick feet, and lead.
Future lessons will progress from there into riding bareback and then with a saddle, with balance exercises and a foundation that leads to safety and good communication with the horse.
Experienced Riders
We will tailor fit your lesson program to meet your needs.
Cindy will evaluate you and your horse and put together a lesson plan to help you meet your goals.
