First Time Beginner Riders What to expect
We require a min of 4 private lessons for beginner riders before moving to group lessons. This gives you the time to develop your training foundation with one on one instruction time.
To prepare your rider for your first lesson please make sure to have sturdy shoes. Boots are preferred, but not required. But no open toe shoes, flip flops or sandals.
Please bring water bottle, as it gets hot out there.
At this time We have no cancellation fee if you are experiencing or been exposed to illness. We do request 24 hour notice of cancellation if possible.
We provide riding helmets to be used. All riders under the age of 18 are required to wear helmet.
The first lesson will be learning all about the horse. Horse care, safety, and preparation for riding. You will learn how to brush, pick feet, and lead.
Future lessons will progress from there into riding bareback and then with a saddle, with balance exercises and a foundation that leads to safety and good communication with the horse.
Experienced Riders
We will tailor fit your lesson program to meet your needs.
Cindy will evaluate you and your horse and put together a lesson plan to help you meet your goals.
